Then get ready to enjoy the high energy experience of That Band – with Don McCray making his guitar sing, burn and cry while belting out gruff vocals, Emily Rose laying down a solid bass-line and steaming up the house with her soulful voice, and Dave Deason working rhythmical magic on drums.
That Band has been rocking the house since 2001 and has recorded a self-titled all original CD, hosted various blues jams, performed at several of the Pikes Peak Blues Community’s “Paint the Town Blue” summer concert series and "Celebration of Music" events, placed in the International Blues Challenge semi-finals in Denver (sponsored by the Blues Foundation and Colorado Blues Society in October 2007), opened for national recording artists Los Straitjackets with special guest vocalist Big Sandy, and keeps busy playing local clubs.
That Band can take the audience all the way from Chicago, to the deep bayou, to catching a wave while entertaining the crowd with a variety of music from ZZ Top to B.B. King & Etta James to The Ventures, guaranteed to start toes tapping and bodies swaying. With the wide variety of hard-hitting rockers and perfect slow-dancing ballads, you never know what That Band has up their sleeve!
